I live at the Jersey Shore & there is nothing more beautiful than to see the light of the full moon beaming off the ocean.
When there is no moonlight it's too dark to see anything out there !!

Depends. If I've got my telescope out (which is very infrequent) the moon gives off too much light to see more distant objects.
However, in a romantic setting..... or just casually observing, I love seeing the moon :)
