I would choose the WRX STI. I like all three cars but the GTO has higher insurance because its 2 doors and you have to pay the gas tax of at least $2000 a year because it uses an 8 cylinder engine. Its top speed is 5 mph higher than the others. It goes 160mph while the evo and sti go up to 155mph. Its 0-60 time is slower by a fraction of a second.
The WRX is better looking than the evo and more reliable. The Evo and WRX STI are more practical and better for everyday driving and racing because you do not use as much gas.

I drive my 400+ HP GTO every day It is a coupe and built out of a rather heavy platform, I drive at the Many of the road race tracks too. WRX STI and Mitsubushi EVO are built out of a lighter Economy car sedan chassis with modifications they are very fast. So you have to ask your self do I want V-8 low end torque low reving long lasting machine OR Very highly stressed 4 Cyl. with turbos that can burn out quickly?

1 Additional oxymoron above is the word embarrassed and acronym STI.
The subaru wrx sti is a 4 wheel drive street hugger, also these wrx machines have pillars that protect the driver like a forcefield when broad sided.Thus, the other drivers [who are at fault]get killed maimed and least have a totaled car when the victim in the wrx sti walks away. Besides the''4 wd rally racing'' wrx stis' spanking it hands the other racers and drivers as they arent doing crap in the dirt shouldnt be considered as much as the fact that The protective body of a subi leaves seasoned fire fighters and police in awe of the ready made race car [and its respected subi family] adding to subarus' reputation for presevation of life.
So Go subi or go dead.if you dont agree with your safety being #1 dont vote for this answer i beg you.

Pontiac GTO. because the cost of normal maint/wear and tear should be much less expensive than the high end high maint cost of the others!
OR you could get a Pontiac G8, a Cadillac CTS-v, Dodge Charger R/T, Chrylser 300 R/T
