well i dont really go for pet names or anything like that babe and baby is fine with me but sweetheart?sugar? i dont really like that
they're are other ways to be thoughtful like dont forget her birthday, buying her something nice once in a while not all the time.
and a little love you wouldnt hurt would it?

I don't really like nicknames like that, but that's just me. :P It's just that my parents say things like "sweet heart", so to me those kind of things are said when a couple are married, but as I said, that's only because of my parents.
I'm still young, so those nicknames would seem a little... *shrug* I don't know. Babe would be acceptable, as I've heard people my age use that, but I just don't like it. :P I much prefer when they use my name. ;]

I don't like babe, sugar, or honey that much...but I wouldn't really tell my fiancee to not call me that if he happened to call me any of those.

I love it as a term of affection when i KNOW the guy saying it! But not if I just meet them or they shout it at me or call me it instead of actually knowing my name - then its just plain condesending.

The keyword is moderation and situation. I really like it but if my man is really serious I would rather have him say my name to get my attention and make me special.
