I have an Advent K200 with vista installed on it it has a built in camera and I would like to know what software I would have to use on my computer to make a video using the built in camera?

Probably Windows Movie Maker which will be in your accessories menu I think.
When your selecting Source choose web cam

First download a program/buy one for video editing
and forget about the built in - usually bad quality and not very portable but yeah try pinnacle studio 8 or something like that

Your new laptop should have a software to make videos for that. Try looking for it. Most Camera has a software to make Videos. Or you can always download a copy of Camtasia Studio.
