A person who believes in equality b/w men and women. However, in practice, most if not all feminists are sexist bigots who advocate advancing women's rights and granting them special privileges without any responsibility, at the expense of men, children and society overall. For example, believing it's okay to deny men of all reproductive rights, despite how unfair, unjust and UNEQUAL it is. Or take affirmative action as another example; believing it's okay to employ less qualified women over more qualified men solely on the basis of being a female. Don't even get me started on selective service or "family law".

These are just some of the many examples of the sexist BS that feminists promote, so it's plain as day that feminists DO NOT advocate equality, but rather superiority. Anyone who denies this needs to get their head checked.

Feminist

Feminism is an ideology focusing on equality of the sexes. Feminism comprises a number of social, cultural and political movements, theories and moral philosophies concerned with gender inequalities and discrimination against women. Some feminists, like Judith Butler, have argued that gendered and sexed identities, such as "man" and "woman", are social constructs

Somone, male or female, that believes that women should have equal access to opportunities in their world and have the ability to particiapte in decisions made that affect them.

Whats funny is that the whole "crazy man hater" thing is based on the perspective of a few scared men and a few admittedly crazy women who, unfortunately for the rest of us, call themselves feminist.

Im going to put this out there right now:

anyone who advocates putting men in subservient positions to women or who blames all men for the way women are treated is NOT a feminist.

A feminist is a person who believes in advancing women to equal footing with men, socially, politically, legally, and economically. This means that the same person must reject both discrimination and special treatment on account of their gender.

You will never find an accurate definition to the word "feminist."

Know why?

Because no feminist ever admits to anti-male & sexist behaviors & they always pass the buck along.

"Oh, I'm not THAT type of feminist." Well how can you explain how MAJOR feminist organizations have VERY anti-male attitudes and are also feminists.

You are a feminist... they are feminists. How is that possible? One of you is lying or the term needs to be removed from one of you.

The definition of "feminism is about equality" is very common.

It's also very common to see feminists fighting for very "unequal" laws and displaying very "unequal" attitudes about things like reproductive rights & child custody.

The reason feminism is so hard to define is due to the fact that feminists with diametrically opposite views are both holding the banner for feminism.

If you call yourself a feminist, how does ANYONE know exactly what "type" you are?

The term could mean VERY different things about what type of person you are.

Somebody that believes in equal opportunity and no more double standards. I guess Jay would define Rosa Parks as a crazy white hater.

Something, apparently, that scares the hell out of emotionally unbalanced men. It's their "boogeywoman" that lives under their beds and lurks in their anxiety closets. It's the cloak these men throw over their own insecurities and inferiority complexes.
