Depends on the criticism, if it relevant, that person might get a "thank you." If it's not then I give both boo hoo and screw you!

It really depends on what I'm being criticized for.....and on how much truth there is to it. Also, I factor in if it's constructive or destructive when they do it, and how well they know me.
So, sometimes it's a boo-hoo....sometimes it's a screw you. Sometimes it is neither one.......it just depends on the circumstances behind it.

This kind of knee-jerk hostility is one of the problems with society today.
If I'm criticized for a legitimate mistake or problem, I own up to it. It's called being an adult. It's a sign of character to accept such criticism with grace.
If I'm criticized by some bozo who's just shooting off his/her mouth, I simply ignore them. That's the best way to deal with ill-mannered clods -- completely ignore them.
In case someone hasn't told you, life is not like the Jerry Springer Show. But if you want to behave that way, I guess there's nothing to be done but wish you well.

If the criticism comes from a stranger, I move on but if that person is close to me and knows me a little bit better, I evaluate his/her judgment and take the criticism as something of which I can learn or fix myself.

i suppose it depends on whether or not i feel i'm right... however, i don't boo hoo over a mistake - i try to figure out why i messed up to begin with... if i feel i'm right, then it is screw you..

Neither. Both. Either. Depends on the criticism, and who is criticizing me.

I can take constructive criticism but do not even bother me with your personal judgments of me or my work. You will not win.
