As a child, it was Legos. Every Christmas brought more and more Legos. I loved Legos.

As a teenager [around 1977], it was a brand new IBM Selectric II typewriter, complete with correction tape! The thing weighed about 900 pounds -- solidly built of metal, dontcha know. :-)

My father bought me a super-sized puzzle when I was five (literally one of the ones that covers an entire wall!).

It was a world map but done in the style of those antique globes, with sea monsters coming out of the waves and all the countries coloured in an aged sepia shade.

It took me about a year to put together and ignited my passion for travel and adventure that still burns within me today!

I was a big Star Wars fanatic in the 70's - my parents hooked me up with what had to be over $100 worth of action figures, ships, misc. toys - I was in Star Wars nirvana!

Wish I still had that stuff, I'd be rich!
