It's very important when it comes to my little girls. Coming from my husband and other adults, I don't have to hear it. I would rather it be shown. But my children aren't quite old enough to articulate that emotion yet. Those three little words, coming from them, are the highlight of my existence.

I don't say it unless I really mean it.
I feel like most people abuse the word on a daily basis. They confuse it with infatuation. When guys tell me they love me after just meeting me, it bothers me, it goes in one ear and out the other! Also if someone says 'Luv ya!" or "i heart you", I reply 'Prove it!"

It isn't that important for me any more. As long as I tell myself that and I do that for myself, I'm good.
If people told me "I love you" more often, then it would be nice but that's not the case for me.

Very important...I never heard that word as I child and used to be uncomfortable when people would tell me that. I actually learned that word with my daughters and my friends.
