It depends on the jurisdiction, but I think you can get charges pressed if you were a child when it happened.

If it happened to you as an adult it would be extremely difficult to get a conviction, even if it were possible to press charges.

And there is a statute of limitations. I do think it varies from one place to another.

Most jurisdictions the statute of limitations is 7 years. Check with the local DA or the local police to see if there is enough evidence to move forward with a case.

It depends on the state the rape occurred in. In my state (KY), there is no statute of limitations on felonies, so the charges can be brought at any time. I would call the local prosecutor and ask.
