How about the Grand Canyon. Awesome sites and you can get great photos, especially at sunset. Another great place is Mt. Rainier in Washington State.

Snoqualmie Falls, Washington......just East of Seattle.....
Why? It is a magnificent waterfall that you can take see
from the viewpoint up on the mountain at a distance or you can walk the trail to the base of the falls and feel the spray
of the falls on your face....there, you will see nature at it's best..well, you gotta see it to know........JMO

Wyoming...from desert flowers to mountain peaks, from diverse wild animals to gorgeous sunsets, from waterfalls to "disappearing" rivers, from Native American pow-wows to early american dinosaur fossils, from ghost towns to big cities, from mineral springs to whitewater rafting, from cowboys to indians, Wyoming has it all...and then some...as their advertising goes, "like no place else on earth"
