Breathe... totally normal!
It will be brownish the first few times, as well as spot. It will do a bit of stopping and starting... so keep pads with your everywhere you go.
You can keep them in a zip up make up bag in your locker, purse, backpack. Ones with wings are best.
Put little stars on your calendar for each day you have it so that you can keep track of it.
Use a hot water bottle for cramps, or eat a banana.
Cramps, sore breasts, gas, bloating and diarrhea are all normal. Clots that are larger than a nickle need to be told to your doctor.

That's normal don't worry sweetie. And through your life you may notice your period blood may be brown, this is at the beginning and end of your period, when the blood is dried up a little. Everyone has different flows, some woman have really heavy and others may have a light short period.

yes its perfectly normal!! no first periods are not normally heavy and the brown color is because its "old" blood... give it a couple days and maybe it will be more red.
Congrats!
