The latest McCann interview was allegedly about promoting the new hotline (which the McCann's as clients may or may not pass onto the police). Consequently we can ask - is the legal/judicial systems in Portugal and the UK working for the McCann investigation??

See Clarence Mitchell's justification of hotline...where callers can talk confidentially to private investigators hired by the McCann's. Clarence has stated they will use their discretion whether or not to pass the information on to the real judicial authorities????

Charely: I agree - you highlight the private investigation being undertaken by the McCann's that is undermining the UK and EU judicial process.

The McCanns seem to be a race apart from us mere mortals. I agree that this is just one more McScam.

It's all another load of spin and nonsense to divert attention away from them AGAIN. Perhaps they are scared what might transpire when the Tapas 7 are re interviewed.
They should mind their own business and let the PJ continue with investigations, after all these two are the suspects but you wouldn't think so by the way they are behaving. As each day passes they look and sound more and more ridiculous and guilty, and the reason why the Spanish interview was probably not shown over here is because they think the British people are rather more discerning and not as gullible as those in Spain. Clarence Mitchell must sit up all night working out what the next ridiculous step will be.
As for this Hotline.. well don't they realise that IF anyone did see Maddy then they would certainly find a way of informing the police, etc without their stupid hotline.

What I want to know is, is this hot-line free or premium rate? Not going to call it to find out but do you get straight through or is there a mountain of drivel/advertising before you get to the nitty gritty thus bumping up costs. Another money making scam? I can just picture all those thousands of kind-hearted people 'phoning to try to help and being fleeced yet again. How much more do the McCanns want? I wish someone would put a stop to all this, it is blatant theft.

Edit: Sorry Charley did not read your 5p hot-line bit, I do not believe it is only going to cost 5p, there has got to be a catch, very cynical after their previous scam.

Edit: I believe the McCanns have been undermining and interfering in the investigation from the start. This is just another step in the process. All information should go straight to the Authorities and not be sifted to suit the McCanns.

Legal/judicial systems in Portugal and the UK are working TOGETHER with the parents and their investigators for the common quest of FINDING MADELEINE.

You sure do know how to play the devil's advocate, Intel. Are you related?

Kate mentioned the new number about 3 times but I don't think the Spanish were going to let them use this as an advertising campaign for their 5p a minute hot line. Spain is not silly so didn't let them get the actual number in. I think they would have mentioned it if they could have. Justification of hot line number if people don't want to call this number they have 999,112, crimestoppers (all free) local police, media all of which can be contacted anonomously by phone or letter.

the whole thing stinks.....the interview.....the emotions Kate showed.......after careful coaching ,and weeks of practice with Clarence, who's only purpose in life is to feed us,through the media misinformation..that is why he is employed. And why they haven't been prosecuted yet we will shortly find out.......l have just finished a letter ,to Leicester shire Social Services asking WHY the McCanns have not been prosecuted for reckless child abandonment yet,and reporting them for the same crime.........just to give the S.S no out.Anther letter is on its way to the G.M.C ....Demanding that the two criminals be STRUCK OFF..You cannot have two doctors who recklessly abandoned their three children giving advice to parents, and children,or treating them. And setting up a hotline to find the missing child by them is a great idea.......when are GERRY AND KATE GOING TO USE IT??

They can't win, can they?
Everything they do is wrong. You have them under a microscope and watch them wriggle. You're not really interested in Madeleine at all.

No, they're not.
They are just using every resource available to them to find their missing baby.
Wouldn't you?
