Head quarters at MUMBAI. When RBI was established it was set up at Calcutta (now Kolkata). Later the HQ was moved to Mumbai city permanently.

RBI has 22 regional offices, mostly in state capitals.

RBI has 6 training establishments.

The Reserve Bank of India is the Central Bank of India.It plays the role of Bank of Govt.and Bank of all Banks in India.The Head office of RBI is at Mumbai and it 's branches are at in Major cities like New Delhi,Nagpur,chennai,Kolkatta,Hyderabad etc.

RBI's headquarters is in Mumbai. It was established in 1935. It has a Governor and Deputy Governors with a Board. RBI is banker's bank, bankers to Government, monitoring of credit policy etc. It has offices in most State Headquarters and Delhi also.

it's main office is at MUMBAI previousely it is situated in KOLKATA, but in 1937 permanentaly shift to mumbai.
previousely it was aprivate body but later it becomes nationalised in 1949
