i'm allergic to peanuts, but if i did make a sandwich, i'd only put the peanut butter on one slice.

Just one. Usually put grape jelly on top of that. Yumm. Makes me hungry to think about it.

putting it on both sides would require a knife and fork to eat it or it would be way too messy.
i just put it on an inch thick on one side.

well it depends...
if I make one for myself, just one and strawberry jam on the other
if I make it for my mother I mix the pb and j together and then put it on one and the other on top and cut it in 4.
