Have you ever had a trick-or-treat chaperone hold out a bag?

Like, not in costume?
The first time an adult did that, I was so surprised that I just gave them a piece of candy, but wish I'd thought to hand them a box of raisins instead.
Does this bother anyone else? Does anybody here take a bag for themselves when they escort the kids?

most times it's the little kids first time and they don't know .next year they will be at the front of the crowd getting their share

No that's wrong..it's for the kids only..adults shouldn't accept anything.

thats like so gay! i mean its a holiday 4 kids not their parents
