I think two championships per city is the most...I know the Mets won the 1986 World Series, and three months later the Giants won the Super Bowl. ..the "We Are Family" Pirates of Willie Stargell and Dave Parker may have won the World Series the same year as the Steelers won the Super Bowl.

Noone has ever swept all three major sports. Those being Baseball, Basketball, and Football.
Boston has a 85% chance of doing this imo. The red sox got it, the pats got it. If Garnett, Pierce, and Jesus Shuttlesworth (Ray Allen) play well as a cohesive unit, they will not need a supporting cast and they will win the title.

Red Sox and Patriots in 2004...but not the Celtics...I don't think there has been in all 3 major professional sports...All 3 in Boston were close in '86...The Celtics won, the Red Sox were in the World Series and lost, the Patriots were in the Super Bowl and lost...
