If you are in school and the difference is 4 yrs then it may be hard with the age gap, you are still basically a teenager and with the pressure of having a 4yr older bf/gf it can be hard. Also for the fact that the older you get the more things you can understand and know and want different things. Having a 4 yr older bf/gf they may have certain expectations and as the relationship progresses may want things that a teenager/under the age person should not do.

But if you are an adult then 4yrs is nothing, if you are both on the same page then age should not matter. As they say love conquers all and age has no limits. My ex was 8 yrs older than me.

4 years is by no potential too plenty, i can not think of of any a while the place i could merchandise to it different than according to threat trusting a 4 year previous to seem after a new child toddler for long classes of time. yet you're the two adults, and at this element on your existence it is not even a distinction. And your "chum" isn't a good chum if she thinks it is so awful which you incredibly decide to this element a guy that may no longer your perfect age or graduating type (is she mentally nonetheless in junior extreme or something?). tell her to p*ss off. i understand a woman who became 19 while she began dating a guy 30 years older, they're nonetheless mutually, if that age hollow would nicely be triumph over, then would not 4 years sound like a drop in the bucket?

Yea really depends on the ages of the two people involved. Like for myself and one of the guys I'm interested in now, is 4 years between us but I'm going on 21 next month and he just turned 24 in august. So pretty reasonable. But if you are way young should not be going for anyone that is over a year or 2 older than you.

If you are both over 18 its not a big age gap. Age is only a number unless the people involved make more of it and make it an issue.

Depends how old you are I guess. The difference between 13 and 17 is huge. But after 16, I don't think 4 years is going to make much of a difference.

I think dating someone twice your age isn't a problem either though... It's all about the mutual connection you share.

As for me, it does not matter as long as both of you are working or both you are studying. If the other person is studying, while the partner is working, I'm not saying it does not work out, but then there are things for both parties needed to adjust on and understand.

I'd say no. The general limit is 5 years for maturity and wisdom.
