so there's this guy who I thought was really cool
we have been texting each other like crazy & text everyday for hours upon hours
come to find out yesterday he tells me he's still 'in love'(according to him its a special kind of love) with his ex gf (who mutually broke up with him 6 months ago) BUT he said he likes me.... & respects me
umm I know some of yall have prolly been in my shoes & I was flabbergasted! I didn't know what to say.. I was crying on the phone to my friend while I was texting him.. I was heartbroken to say the least.
umm what should I do next????? fer sure I'm gonna take a few days to cool but should I talk to him, continue texting as we have been, etc.? :-\
tonight he texted me saying goodnite :) (and yeah he only does the smiley face when he's happy......ugh)

Confront him, or leave him be. Ether you keep relating honestly or give it up, your not going to make anything out of this. Like you crying there, should of told him. Honest is not just a policy, its a way to a true relationship, its actually your only TRUE way to win him over from the love he shares with her, short of that, heart-breck alley!

Sounds like he was wooing two people at the same time. And he chose someone else.
Go find someone else who only has eyes for you. He's a player.
