This is a follow up to an earlier question, but all the answers had to do with teams. Does anyone know what person got off the most shots in a single game?

Claude Lemieux with New Jersey and John Tucker with Tampa Bay both had 14 shots in one game.
I'm not sure if this is the record or not (I searched quite a bit and couldn't find that record listed), but if not, it is probably close.

No but Phil Esposito has the record for most shots in a season. He had 550 in a 78 game season in 70-71.

I know there was this one D-man back in the 20s who had over 400 shots in something like 30 games. It has to be him. I don't remember the name, but I heard this somewhere.
