I was happier as a child.

I was happiest when I was 4, 5 & 6. 7-11 were just blah. 11-13 were hell. 14-21 were generic and blah. 22- now have been an especially deep and dark hell.

I was happier as a child. I was brighter than all the other kids and felt good about myself. I was the kind of kid that was a teacher's pet, a model child. When I got older, I started having all kind of anxiety problems, depression, panic attacks. I try to be happy as an adult but it's hard. I look around at people I grew up with and see that they have better lives - they got married, they have families. That's never going to happen for me.

I believe now, as an adult. I can appreciate things more, and see things in a different light. Though being a child was fun, having no worries, eating candy, and all that. :)

i was nice to be free of worries and responsibilities as a child, my world was so small then.....now that i'm older i understand the world and even though a lot of bad comes with that , i get to experience the happiness and joys of being an adult....things like children, the love of a man, understanding god.....so on....it's much better than staying a child forever.....the happinesses i experience today mean more to me than the happinesses of childhood....and they r worth the pain that comes with it
