Uh, no. They lost game 3 in the 2004 LCS to the Yankees, who scored 19 runs. Then the Sox swept them after being down 3 games to none and went on to sweep the Cardinals in the series, too.

You may be thinking of game 3 of the 2004 ALCS. The Yankees won 19-8 putting the Sox down 3 games to none and the Red Sox came back to win the ALCS.

Yes. 19 to 8.
It goes to show to never, ever think a team has won until the final out.
The 1996 Braves killed the Yankees in Games 1 and 2, then the Yankees came back to win the next 4 games - against Glavine, Smoltz, and Maddox!!!
I would love to see the Rockies pull off a stunning upset!
Go Rockies!

In a series other than this one? I don't think so, cuz they said the most a team has won by was tonight, by 12 points.
