I am going to miss an acting audition. What should I do? I really do not want to never be called in again by that casting office...

Get in contact with or have your agent call the people who are organizing the audition and be very upfront and honest with them. Tell them that, while you would like to have the chance to audition for the project you will not be able to make it at the time they have you for. You can always ask them if you could reschedule the audition as well. Also drop in as a side note that if there is no way you can reschedule that you do look forward to working with the in the future.

Lots of people have to cancel audtions everyday for various reasons. But at least if you let them know you won't be there as opposed to pulling a no show they should take that as a sign of courtesy and professionalism. A definite plus in your column for future considerations!

Not only is it a long process, but shows do not always pull through. Plus, most Disney/Nick actors are stuck forever like that, or are only known or idols by/for kids: Miley Cyrus Any and every Jonas Brother Selena Gomez (she may be able to get out of the Disney hole) Drake Bell Josh Peck Miranda Cosgrove Victoria Justice Brena Song--BIG TIME Sprouse twins Ashley Tisdale Zac Efron Bridgit Mendler Jason Dolley Demi Lovato Chelsea Staub (or did she change her name..?) But, of course, you can AUDITION. That does not grantee anything. Do you like the idea of the show? That's what you really need to think about.

Just like Alex B said, you have to let them know. You never just not show up. Always do everything you can to let them know and try to reschedule. Follow Alex's advice. It's good and he deserves best answer. I couldn't say it any better ;-)
