If you have ever lived in a city where you have to parallel park all the time, little "love" bumps go with the territory. As far as I'm concerned that is why cars have bumpers.

As in bump into another vehicle? No !!! And I'd hate anyone who did that to my car..... coming back to find some mong-driver had bashed it up.
I always tell my gf not to put her music so loud when first getting in the car... first few minutes of getting in a car to drive when you are most vulnerable to crashing... need to settle in.

The driver who backed into the parked car is at fault.

I've done that on serious bumps, let alone little ones! I once side-swiped a car taking off it's sideview mirror, and I just kept going... My gf was like, "oh my God! Aren't you gonna stop?".... I was like, "Um, what for? I already got a sideview mirror."
