Actually, neither. What motivates me the most is the needs of my loved ones.
This isn't to say that I live to serve, or that there is nothing that I want or need. I have wants and needs, just like everyone else...but I always find a way to be content, even if it's only temporary.
When someone that I care for has a want, I do what I can but moreso try to motivate them into achieving that goal on their own. When it comes to something they NEED, however, it's no questions asked.

Love motivates a man or a woman in everyway in our life.We may love a person thats what we need but we want things to be good and presented a gift as a mode of love in return for appreciation of our relationship.Every man there is a woman ,she may bring up a man's life or let it down cos when a man is hopelessly devoted to her , he is helpless without her.

the things i want. because the things i need is more of an obligation. "i need them" thats why i need not much motivation as compared to "i want them" that is in nature non obligatory.
