Whats the Biggest problem in the world?

Language is the Biggest problem in the world. It may seem like a good thing but it really isnt. Language sperates our selves from the rest of reality. Because we have words for things and communicate them, we come up with ideas that we are each individuals seporate from a total system. This ends up with ideas that are not real, but we treat as real. Mostly we identify these problems through emotion, but without language life would work through instinct, and therefore without thought.

If this was the case, then we would have no sence of self, cause we would have no thought, we would simply be. If there is no sence of self, then everything in turn works as a total system. The word Problem is an idea brought up eventually by language, and would not exist if language did not exist. So alll of our perceptual problems would not even be real to us if not for language, so I think language is the biggest problem in the world.

The biggestt problem is, the non belief in God. The more people don't believe, the more bad and evil to get in.

That doesn't mean atheist are bad, but without God they're at a disadvantage.


I'm not saying every christian has a better life or is nicer, but with God in your life it can help out alot.

Sorry,I don't agree with you. If language was the problem then why animals have the problems. We are safer in our civilisation than animals are in their hideouts.

Real problems lies that we are given identities with our birth. A child born in a Muslim family or a Christan family has no right to say he is a free human but he is born Muslim whether in later stage he likes it or not.

This way thought process which you think is problem due to language, is real problemm some due to being enslaved by cultural values which become more important than the life itself.

If we are free to think and search God in our own way as we have search and broken the genetic code, we will not feel that the language is the proble,

Wars are fought but are ended on the table and with the help of language.

Ignorance to me is the greatest problem.
Many are ignorant about cultures relgions etc.
This causes others to become blind and simply hate or dislike someone because of a misunderstanding.
If we all would just take time to study someones culture and way of life then we would appreciate them more becoming more understanding of their way of life.

Language to me isnt a problem. Language is the basis of thought without a language how are we to think or come up with ideas?

Even if we all walked around speaking the same language or no language there is still body language.

Learning to speak a language as a child is what separates the right and left hemispheres of our brains. But I never thought of that as a World problem. One flaw in your idea is that Chimpanzees, which have no language, are capable of self-awareness. This has been proven repeatedly with the mirror experiment. Our thoughts would probably more pure, like mental image pictures, but we would have them. Great question though.

Language is not the problem as you are describing it but lack of communication skills. People don't listen. People aren't clear when they speak. People lie and manipulate and use language to get messages across of hate and domination. Communication should be about connecting and finding the common ground. It should be used in honest and with integrity .It should be a conflict resolver. Unfortunately, rarely does this seem to be the case. This lack I feel is one of the main contributors to problems not only in the world but between individuals. It's sad.

Hmm, I agree language is a problem. It is a barrier to peace. And yes it does separate society like race or borders do.

Yet I think the biggest problem our world faces is overpopulation. The more people we have on Earth, requires more of its resources being stripped and used at a rate faster than can be replaced. Eventually we would need another planet.

When things turn bad they cease to believe in God.God therefore,allowed the devil one century in which to exercise an extended power over the world.The devil chose the twentieth century. Today,as we can see all around us,everyone is dissatisfied,they cannot abide each other.Just look at the number of divorces,and abortions.Satan still has control of the people who have not tried to return to God. As someone noted above, biggest problem is the human himself.

Why did we develope language in the first place? To communicate better. Everything human has invented has positives and negatives.

He invented religion but ended up fighting other religions.
He invented airplane, but he uses it for bombing.
He invented medicine but where does it reach in Africa?.
He invented light bulb, but wastes so much electricity lighting up his favourite city.

Its his own ego and greed thats the problem.

Easy the biggest problem in our world is religion. we have and will continue to kill each other for the one thing that is suppose to make us better people. no matter what the issue is, religion always has something to do with it.
