is it just not the same when you answer a question and then you think of a funnier answer, but have to go back and edit it?

It's like getting the scene perfectly in the rehearsal and then flubbing the lines during the taping. Or sumpin' like dat.
Next Up: Lefty tries to open a wine bottle with a No. 2 pencil. Pokes himself accidently and uncorks a No. 1 in his pants.

I don't mind going back and editing an answer, but I hate having to add details to a question because the details usually don't show up unless people hit their refresh button.

when i first started using this i did not know you could edit your answer so i would be sad when i thought of something funnier to say..â£

If you can improve on your answer in any way, I think you will be happier for the result. The best I have done is to spot an error after submitting and then correct it.
