For halloween my 9 yr old is going as ragedy ann i need help?!?

hi well she is suppose to tell a short descritpion of her chacrter at school i personally dont know much about ragedy ann can anyone help? tell me something a 9 yr old can understand

My suggestion is that she says that Raggedy Ann is a fictional character creatd by writer Johnny Gruelle in 1915 in series of books he wrote and illustrated. It was created for his daughter Marcella. The idea happened when she handed him a rag doll and he put a face on it.

It was also made into a doll shortly thereafter in 1918. Raggedy Ann is a blue and white rag doll with red yarn for hair.
