That is such an unfair question! They both kick ***! Bon was a classic, iconic frontman and Brian kept the fire burning so we can all still enjoy AC/DC today. They both deserve to have their time and our appreciation because we all know that life would not be as cool without "Touch Too Much" or "For Those About To Rock!" So for that I Salute both of 'em!

Shouldn't the question be .. Could there be a better replacement for Bon Scott, other than Brian Johnson? The answer is .. probably not.

AC/DC did not miss a beat when Bon died. Brian was the best replacement they could have even hoped for.
Dave Evans is AC/DC original vocalist

Both are equal in their rock icon standing as frontmen for AC/DC.
Bon Scott: Mischeviously playful with his clever sexual innuendo--which served AC/DC well in launching it to rock music popularity. Scott lived in the self-destructive chemically enhanced abuse early 70s rock stars were known to indulge in. Scott grand entered fine hotels--and made a chaotic mess of their finest rooms, hosting "Big Balls" parties--and living out life from his songs....and he paid dearly for it.
Question remains: Had Scott lived, would AC/DC also live on?
Brian Johnson: The roadie who had NO idea he'd be fronting AC/DC back from sure band breakup---and help propel the band to become the rock legend it today is. Johnson's vocals are gruff, rough--and on target suited for the "new" sound AC/DC resonated with their comeback "Back In Black" album back in 1980. The band is still alive and kickin' to this day.
That should say it all about both.

this is an intersting question often overlooked and not directed. to be hinest, i think bon scott. he was oriignal, and got ac/dc started and was ur band frontman that got the band started. but, someone sho said brian johnson i wouldn't be suprised. He had a crazy cool voice, and his voice was one that could be "heard" and noticed.
