Picture yourself as a seed in the ground. What self-respecting seed is going to say, " No! I won't grow! I wanna be a seed!" Silly? Of course it is! Wishing that you never had to grow up didn't work, either. Whether you ever recognize it, your life is somewhat like a river. You can sit in it like a rock and never move forward, or you can flow to the next experience. Learn, grow,..........flow!

When you accept Change you will be rewarded with Personal Growth not accepting change is from the Ego the Soul enjoys the change so I guess you have to work on your "EGO" sometimes your Ego can give you a push forward and that is a good thing however the Ego can also hold us back from moving on so if you want to know more research the EGO
A Quote by Steven Foster: On Change
You may wonder,
How can I leave it all behind if I am just coming back to it?
How can I make a new beginning if I simply return to the old?'
The answer lies in the return.
You will not come back to the 'same old thing.'
What you return to has changed because you have changed.
Your perceptions will be altered.
You will not incorporate into the same body, status, or world you left behind.
The river has been flowing while you were gone.
Now it does not look like the same river.
[From The Book of the Vision Quest]
Your Ego can be your friend or your worst enemy
Your Soul will never lead you astray
Love & Blessings

In times of crisis I find that simple pleasures bring great comfort. Read a book. Make some tea. Bake some oatmeal cookies.
It is also important to remember that you have the power to decide. You could change your life. You could try to fight the winds of change (wasn't that a cheezy '80s ballad?), or you could go with the flow, or you could fret about it. Each option is a choice that you made. Freewill rules.

I like speaking with metaphors too, lol.
Find a hobby or something you enjoy during. When i was going through a lot of stuff in my life, at least no matter what was going on around me, i had that thing to fall back on at the end of the day, and it was fun and got my mind off my troubles. When everything was changing around me, my hobby never did.
Which is why i wanna become an author still to this day, 'cause writing got me through a lot.

It all depends on what type of change that you are talking about. If you are changing then that is a change that comes with growing up and you will have to decide how to handle that on your own. But if people and things are changing and that is some thing that you can control because you are in charge of what you want to do and how things should be around you. Good Luck
