It can be either , I mean a little well placed denial can be beneficial like faking ones age can. I am not talking about being older but younger. It works! It can be bad if it prevents one from looking at problems and getting them solved. All a matter of the situation really. I do not deny so much as ignore. The important stuff you can pay attention to.

It would depend on what you are denying. Sometime a little denial is the only way to get through a situation (such as a potentially terminal illness). Good luck! ;-))

why do westerners live in denial about the fact that your countries are still colonial powers that take no responsibility for what they do around the world? why do White Americans live in denial that the land they live on was stolen and the people who lived on it before you were contiguously cleansed from the land? Genocide! Why do white people live in denial that white privilege exists? why does the west not see the similarities between the hatred towards gipsies and Jews in the media in Nazzi Germany, and the current medias hatred towards Muslims? and who knows where that is going to lead?

l'm not comfortable being in the "denial mode". l always accept things as they are since it will always end with us accepting what has occurred.
Denial is not a good thing for me.

I don't think it is. Denial only shows things are being hidden that need to be resolved. In order to be free, we must let truth guide us..

Always a bad thing. Eventually you'll have to accept it. Either that, or you'll get all messed up from those repressed thoughts.
