Oh, boy, do I ever!!! And you know when you are worrying with it that you cannot change things!!
My daughter who is severely bipolar(we had no idea at the time) was addicted to meth. I had her two babies and for over two months had no idea where my child was. It almost drove me over the edge, worrying about her, then I read this somewhere, I believe it was in "Reader's Digest":

'IF A PROBLEM HAS NO SOLUTION, THEN IT MAY NOT BE A PROBLEM, BUT A FACT."

That hit me so hard!! I then realized that I could not make her come home or make her well, it simply wasn't a problem that I could fix, but a fact that I was going to have to come to terms with. I made into an 8"X10" framed picture withthe words on card stock that I printed out on my computer and put it on my living room wall right by the kitchen entrance so I could see it several times a day. With God and that very deep, very touching quote, we all made it through that awful time. My daughter is married now, has another baby, takes her meds every day and could not be happier!!

yes- I do it all the time with both serious and stupid things.
The fact is that i cant change what i have done or what other people have done to me, and i have a hard time accepting that. I guess i just need to remind myself alot that even though i cant change the past i can always try to change the future; and everything that was in the past can be used for good.
for example: if you made a dumb mistake at work- you learn from it and you dont do it again which makes you a better worker.
or if you were hurt by someone you can use that fact to help other people who were hurt.

Human nature , people want things to be good and right ,
But reality only cooperates 1/2 the time .
Sooo , people keep trying to make it right in their mind even though reality is opposite .

The problem becomes worse if you never accept reality and dwell on the fantasy all the time .

Actually, you are not doubting your faith. Your problem is you dont know what the next step is in becoming stronger. The best thing for you to do is to go to your pastor and repeat the post word for word. He will not think any worst of you. In fact, he will think you quite mature for revealing your doubts. Dont worry, he has had enough experience, he has answered your exact question time and time again, and will point you in the right direction. In fact I know for a fact god is watching over you, by the answers that I saw posted, before I posted mine. For me the key was putting him first, then putting others 2nd, while not being foolish about it. It's a tricky thing to learn. But its great when you can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

All the time! It drives my husband insane that I worry about things that I have no control over. Funny thing is, most women I know are like that.
