man 13 titles and they have been in the last 38 bowls so im guessing they were in a few the 80 yrs before that jack-nut...how many of Michigans "bowl" games are in their home state? 0...they ALWAYS play opp HOME STATE 50 of 57 whos cares how u spell app st..they are and always will be nothing( they wouldve beat ANY team that 1st game)

Funny how a guy writes no Powerhouse team would want our coach Carr..How many POWER HOUSE coaches want to come to MICHIGAN..Les Miles LSU...Mack Brown Texas...and Bob Stoops Oklahoma all said " u'd have to be stupid to turn down a chance to coach at MICHIGAN" Les Miles says he wants to be the next coach after Carr....as for u guys and your facts about 18-20 in bowls..michigan is 33-23-1 ( not including 11 times with 11-0 records not going to a bowl ..school was more important to the progam) as for recent history couple people say..um Most BCS bowls ,most cons. Bowls,Most Con winning seasons? thats pretty recent..Carr is 21-4 vs top 5..pretty recent..Michigan Plays in USC home stadium for its bowl games (michigan 33-19-2 all time vs usc)

First of all, when someone starts using stats from a long time ago to justify why they are good now,, that is weak.
When it comes to playing your biggest rival--you should be called the Olverines because there is never a W anymore.
No major powerhouse program would want your head coach.
If you just look at recent history, say 5 years, so that we are all sure that the stats are right and equal then
Ohio State and USC have records and players that cannot be matched.
I.E.--Heisman's, BCS Bowl Records, Overall records, Players from those years PLAYING in the NFL
LSU and Florida would even have a much stronger case than Michigan.

you left out a few facts
usc is 5-2 against michigan in the rose bowl.
usc has 7 heisman trophy winners michigan 3
usc 11 legitimate national titles (5 more not claimed by school)
michigan 3 legitimate 8 illegitimate all claimed by school.
usc 114 all-americans michigan 76
usc 38 college hall of famers michigan 33
usc 29-16 in bowls michigan 18-20 (a losing record)
you really do not want to mess with usc. stick to your small time big-10 and leave the big boys alone.

Wikipedia says Michigan has only 11 titles, same as USC.
It also says they are 18-20 in bowl games, including 4 losses in a row these past 4 years, twice to USC.

Yes, as a current student at the University of Michigan, I can unequivocally say that MICHIGAN IS THE BEST! Everyone is hating because we lost the first two games but right now we're on a 6 game winning streak. How many other teams can say that??? (Three according to the guy on the bottom... thanks for the info... lol)
