You should get your hair done first that way your make-up will be as fresh as possible. If you do it before you do your hair, you will probably end up having to re-touch it again anyway. Just make sure that hair AND make-up are two of the last things that you do!
Congratulations!! =)

I just got married a few months ago and had a makeup guy and a hairstylist went to my house. They decided that the best thing to do was to do my hair first and the makeup last. According to the makeup artist, hair will hold up better than makeup and the heat from the roller or hair dryer might make you face look oily or smudged.
In my opinion makeup should be the last thing you do so you look fresh and remember people look at your face more than your hair.
hope this helps.

I do wedding makeup and I always try to do makeup AFTER hair. Blow dryers and heat styling tools tend to make people sweat which messes up makeup. Also, for the makeup to look as fresh as possible it is best not to do it too early. I do makeup before the wedding and then stay to do touch ups during the ceremony and part of the reception.

No don't get your makeup done first. Your hair will take a while and you want your makeup on at the last possible moment because of the chance of smudging etc.

Hair first. Hair will be stiff as a board and make up will wear off. I had mine done kind of at the same time (the same salon did both).

I would get your make up done before your hair. Especially if you are having your hair styled so that it's down and not tied back. I think it's easier to put make up on with your hair tied up and out of your face, that way your hair doesn't get in the way and you wont end up getting your hair messed up in the process. Have fun :)

Ask the ladies at the bridal shop - they are very good at that kind of stuff.
Also, find out how long makeup will take, and how long hair will take.
Be sure to have some lip color, and whatever you use to reduce shine - powder, blotting paper - handy at reception.

It depends. If you are oily skinned, probably not a good idea as the blow drying will heat up and melt your foundation, or cause you to be oily/shiny. Sometimes the heat from the styling tools cause the makeup to look messy.

Get your make up done first so that you don't have to worry about messing up your hair, just put your hair up all out of your face, and make sure the stylist (for hair) is careful around your face. :) Good luck and congradulations!
