Perfectly normal.
Some women bleed for months, some women have a regular period, and some women spot at odd times of the month.
I would reconsider the shot, a majority of women have very serious side affects and health issues because of it.

The problem with the depo shot is there is no antidote once to take it. I was told to give it at least 6 months before I made a decision to stay on or not. I spotted for the first 4 months, then completely lost my period. Very rarely do I spot now, and it isn't even enough to wear a panty liner.

I had was on depo several times and never had any problems with it. It actually stopped my completely. Everyone is different. Best to ask your doctor. One birth control is not built for all, you may need to switch

i was on depo for a couple of yrs i still got my period aswell so i was put on the pill aswell however i am now off depo bein that my mum was on it for 9 yrs and was dignosed with cancer (even though its suppose to decress the chance!) so now i am off it! my surgestion is just go on the normal pill get off depo!

when i was on the shot I was on my period for 6 months. Just beware it could keep going....I wouldnt recommend the shot to anyone

not uncommon alot of women have the same trouble try talking to your Dr. you may want to find an alternative birth control good luck
