Well of coarse they do. If you've seen many shows about mediums then you'll understand that true mediums were put here to help other people. There are although false psychics, and thats a shame, b/c it leaves the true psychics with a bad reputation. Its kinda weird b/c have you ever heard that saying "the older you get, the wiser you become", well in most cases people are now becoming the opposite of that, example that randi guy who debunked one false psychic and now thinks all psychics are false.

Yes....But do not believe in the ones prosituting their talents for cash.
You can only be as good as what you see, and how you try to explain it. Not everything you see is what has happen.
some times it my be things that the person really wishes. It could even be what some one close had tried to wish for that person.
How can you charge some one for a vission, or feeling. No it's not fair nor is it right. I always tell a person that if I read them no matter how accurate it may seem. there are always room for mistakes.
I trick for you to try.... If you know some one that is good at art have them make a drawing or picture. You only get to see it when it is done. Look at it foe five seconds. Thats five seconds longer then then the psychics. Put the picture down and ask the artist to let you tell them about the picture. Then ask the artist if you where right about everything in the picture. Even the feeling or emotions.
Just some food for thought

Yes, I do believe in psychics, I do have psychic gifts. I can't say as I've ever been to a psychic, but I do have a few friends who are gifted who are quite good. But it's been my opinion that the best psychics... are the ones you have to know somebody to find. Those are the good ones. I could never in good conscience charge somebody money, let alone what most psychics charge, for something God gave me.

No, I do not believe in psychics. The reason I do not believe in psychics is because I have never seen anyone produce any sort of compelling evidence.
Most psychics use a number of different techniques.
1.) Cold reading - This is when a psychic probes you for information and learns about your mannerisms, relationships, beliefs, etc. They rely on you providing information to them with which they will provide you with a reading.
2.) Vague generalization - Like horoscopes, their readings produce very general advice and commentary that would apply to most anyone on the planet. For example, a psychic might say something like, "You aren't fully satisfied with your relationships" or "Your boss under appreciates you". Also, rarely will a psychic make a specific prediction. They are all general to increase the possibility that they may come true and to leave wiggle room for alternate interpretation at a later date.
3.) Likely events - A psychic will often make a prediction that a very likely event will take place. For example, many psychics correctly predicted the pope would die in 2005. Well, he was old and had had health problems. This isn't much of a reach.
4.) Help from the client - Many psychics count on their client to remember the hits and forget the misses. If a psychic makes 4 specific predictions and only one of them comes true, you are likely to remember the correct one and not recall the 3 incorrect guesses.
5.) Hindsight is 20/20 - This applies especially to those who claim to assist police in finding missing people. A psychic can say, "He's near water and I see trees" knowing full well that most bodies are dumped in rural wooded areas that aren't far from some sort of water. Not only is this "assistance" inactionable, but it only becomes "true" after a bit of retrofitting (i.e. when the body is found the psychic can say "I told you so").
These are only a handful of the problems I have with those who claim to be psychic.

I believe in random psychic ability. I don't believe those people who collect your money and pretend to be psychic on demand. I just don't think it works that way.

Yes I do. I have a mother who is psychic. A real psychic will not make guesses, they will tell you facts. The things they say will either be verifiable at the time, or will verify themselves in the future.

Nope. No decent scientific evidence. Although it is interesting, how they use psychology and good observational skills to make it look like they're supernatural, whether they realize that or not.
My mom went to one once, just before she got married, and the psychic told her she was in a troubled relationship. She and my dad have been happily married 20+ years.

Psychics are like other people some are good and others are clueless. I know some really good ones. We belong to a group and they are helping me to use my psychic powers better, its going slow, but they are helping.

I am a psychic. Let me tell you a little about you. You've been pretty much handed a lot in your life. Your parent(s) keep you pretty sheltered with lots of teddy bears and crap. If dad is still with mom, he might be having a little fling on the side. They love you very much though.
Any special messages...no.
