hai,
I dont know your age. If you are an young, you can concentrate your profile. otherwise you go according to the salary. your previous company call you again means they recognise your service and committment. Better you go and join in your previous company.

This is an immigration issue? I have had someone working for me who had these kinds of questions so I understand a bit. Remember that you have to meet that criteria to maintain your status and if the current company is a happier place then why go back? I think you may not be so happy with the new company?
If you do decide to go back to the old company, ask for a contract and see how they react. If they will write it for you then perhaps they deserve the second chance? If not, at least you will know how far they really want to go to get you back. Maybe now is a good time to talk to your attorney about a better way to go forward with the old company. They always seem to have ideas about what looks the best on the resume and how to position a person who wants to stay in the US to the best advantage. Good Luck!

It sounds to me as if you have made your decision, you just want someone else to confirm your conclusion.

Now there other things to consider in my opinion. Which offer the best chance for advancement? Which appear to be the best bet to last longer than the other? Do you have to re-locate and if so are you willing to relocate?

What was the reason for them not to agree with your terms and conditions before you left? What has changed?

The most important question is which do you feel more comfortable being with and fit in the best?

I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.
