I have a celeron 2.2 Ghz processor (i know it isn't the best) with one Gig of ram and a Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 256 Mb graphics card.
I try to play warcraft 3 and it always seems to freeze up or my mouse will start to jump around the screen when playing. Anything that might help me make my computer run better while playing this game?

Sounds like RAM overload to me. What else are you running along with the game? Are you aware that wallpaper and screensavers run in the background and use memory? Also, Windows, antivirus programs, etc.
Take some time and run through this checklist.
1. Set wallpaper and screensavers to blank or none — they run continuously in the background and use memory.
2. Review your start menu – remove anything you don’t need on a daily basis — load games, etc. on an as-needed basis.
3. From Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options: delete cookies, delete files (offline), and clear history. (You can also set days to store history to 0.)
----- These actions will clear your computer’s cache. (For a description of cache, go to http://help.yahoo.com/l/ph/yahoo/mail/access/access-27210.html )
4. Run Disk Cleanup, Scandisk, Defrag at least every two weeks (the more frequently they are run, the less time they take).
5. Periodically, click Start, Programs, Run — they type ipconfig renew
(that’s ipconfig space renew).

These things should increase speed and free up memory as much as possible.

Shouldn't take much to play that game. There are patches for the game but since there are different warcraft 3 games I dont know what game youre referring to. Heres a link you can start at and, hopefully find the patch for your game and it helps.

the graphics card is weak ... maybe lower resolution and quality settings in the games options and be sure ur getting enough airflow in the case to keep things cool ..

Very likely your RAM needs to upgraded to 2GB (about $60)
The graphic card with 256K also needs to be about 1GB (expensive).
2.2GB speed is OK.
