yes it can happen, you'd be amazed of the things the human mind is capable of,
A completely healthy adult male or female, can suffer from sever depression, panic attacks and even other serious illness such as heart attacks, and psychosis just because the human mind easily manipulated, your "reality sensors" in to think you were actually awake when you, fell off a cliff, or got in to a car accident, or watched some one die.

Of course. That's not weird. The weird part is if you dream about waking up from a dream. Then where do you think you are?

I think you are talking about 'lucid dreaming'.Lucid dreaming is a state in which the sleeper becomes aware and conscious that he or she is dreaming. The imagery in this state is reported to be more vivid than in non-lucid states, and it is difficult to distinguish between the dream and reality. The dreamer is apparently able to control what is dreamed.

I've had dreams where I think I'm awake and then think that I'm probably dreaming and then wake up and realize that I've been dreaming about thinking about dreaming. If that makes any sense at all.

I dreamt I was dreaming and knew I was dreaming in my dream, but I didn't know I was dreaming the whole thing until I woke up.

In my experience, it is possible to dream about anything, and dreaming about yourself dreaming is not the weirdest thing I've ever dreamed about.

I don't see why not...and I know for sure you can be dreaming and know that you are in a dream. (Lucid dreaming, right?) And when that happens, it's a blast, because you are controlling the dream.

I suppose anything is possible in a dream, but I've never heard of that particular dream occurring. Interesting thought, however.
