Each state has its own laws -- and most maintain their own website where you can browse or search those laws.

Statutes of limitations are trickier to find -- because they are not always phrased the same (making searching difficult) and because they are not always listed along with the underlying actions -- some states have entirely separate statutory sections dealing with just those kind of procedural issues.

It may not be easy, and you may have to search.

Go to GOOGLE.

Put in YOUR STATE .... then add ... State Law .

You can also use the word (YOUR STATE) + STATUTES.

Under your State's Statutes .. or laws ... use the Search words .. of STATUE OF LIMITATIONS.

Also -- look up the phone number, email addy, of the Attorney General in your State. You can call - or email for the information.

ALSO - another way, is to call your local DIstrict Attorney.

Researching these things takes time.

Also .. you can go to www.lawguru.com .. and ask a question.
