Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

frequent untreated yeast infections can lead to scarring and fertility problems latter on...see a doctor to be sure the problem is yeast...yeast infections can be treated with over the counter vaginal suppositories and creams...

Noooo. If there is an infection, you need medicine that will kill the yeast/bacteria. Vaseline is more of a benign lubricant.

i have never heard that before. it would be best to either see your doc asap or goto the store and pick up one of the kits from the store - you can get a 3, 7 or so day kit. it would be cheaper, if that does not work then the doc should be next.

it goes up your butt...I wouldn't think it would harm the genitals if it was supposed to be used down there anyway. Like mascara isn't gonna harm you eyes if you get a little in your eye, because it's supposed to be used around your eye anyway.
