dream or past life memory?

I had a dream last night that i was in a battle,it was a little blurry but incredibly real at the same time.I was dresses in a blue coat and i think i had a black hat on.anyway some men in red where running towards us and the other men in blue where running to close the gate of the fort.but then the men in red started to come in with some sort of weapon on the back of a wagon drawen by horse.the other men in blue where attacking them with calvary.as i was watching this a man in red ran up to me with a sword and a drew a long knife about 90 cm long.i ran towards hot too and slit him in the throat with my sword,he grabbed his throat and started choaking or something.then i ran off somewhere and i woke up
do you think this was jst a dream,my imagination or a distant memory from a past life memory?

This reminds me of my dreams. 2 years back i dreamt that i was travelling with my family on a cruise and the cruise was being hijacked. I made all effort to save the whole troop from the hijackers. I came up with stunts to destroy them and i succeeded. I actually dreamt of the whole scenerio and all the hardship i went thru. I was completely soaked in the dream. I woke up just in time for the cruise to reach a save spot. Until today, the dream seem so real to me.
