Does anyone else absolutely love him? He is my favorite actor. I was watching him in an interview type thing with Jay Leno and I was absolutely amazed. He is the total opposite, of his character House and he does such a good job with the American accent. I didn't even realize he wasn't American until I saw him presenting an award.

You can catch him in the live-action version of "101 Dalmatians" (He's Jasper) and "The Man in the Iron Mask" to hear how he really sounds.
Wouldn't it be a stunna if we could get him into a Harry Potter film?

I don't think anyone could play Dr. House as well as Hugh Laurie. I think he is perfect for the role, the same as Jesse is perfect for Chase and Jennifer is perfect for Cameron. I wonder though, if someone else was picked would we be saying he was the best for house? That is, until we see Hugh Laurie acting as him.

He is a great British comic actor, and quite brilliant on House. When that show first came on, I didn't even realize he was the same guy from Black Adder. If you really want to see Hugh at his comedic best, check out that show. It was a series that starred Rowan Atkinson as a different member of a long line of people in the Black Adder family line, and Hugh Laurie was great.

If you love Hugh, do a youtube search for a bit of fry and laurie. The best to start out with are his songs.

You will die. He is sooooooooo funny. I didn't know he wasn't American either. He's actually a totally amazing, smart guy. If you do a bit of research on him, you will be amazed at all of his accomplishments.

Hugh is great!!! In his earlier roles he usually played a dork. Like in 101 Dalmations or in a British series he had called Jeeves & Wooster. Not to mention he was the Dad in Stuart Little. "House" I believe is his first non British role. He also wrote a book called the "Gun Seller"
Myself though I am madly in love with DR. Gregory House. Call me strange but I love his attitude.

i didn't know he was british at all either~!! his american accent as house is fantastic
although hugh is witty like house in a way
