"Lamb Chop's Play Along". The late Shari Lewis kept producing shows for PBS (including the follow-up series "Charlie Horse Music Pizza") until selling her shows to Golden Books just before she died nearly ten years ago from cancer. All of the Lamb Chop material is now owned by UK-based Entertainment Rights plc (which owns everything from the Lone Ranger,Fat Albert and Mr. Magoo to many of the Rankin-Bass Christmas cartoons).

Shari Lewis was a puppeteer and ventriloquist who had a hand puppet named lamb chop. Sadly, Shari Lewis died in 1998.
