I think my father was much better at treating all four of us equally. He didn't play favorites. My mother likes to classify - I am the brightest one, even thought my sister is an attorney. That sister has the "best figure," my other sister is the "most beautiful." I only have one brother, so he couldn't be compared to us girls.

I am the oldest of 2 and I think it was pretty equal, I may have been the favourite for a few years while my brother was going through a rebellious phase but we are pretty much equally ignored and have similar amounts of money thrown our way so that we dont complain.

wow seems like a touchy subject from the answers
but I agree most parents no matter what they say always get along better with one or another children & they do play favorites no matter how much they claim they dont
I have a huge age gap between me & my 5 siblings & my Mom doesnt favor me at all & im the oldest

Hmm... they tryed same but it's hard because they were older than me by 8 and 13 years plus they were boys so it's kinda weird, I am you can say the "baby" of the house hehe. But they did treat us very fairly and gave us equal love

I was dad's favorite and I still am,thank God. My sister and mom were always allies against us. Mom's gone now,so big sis is painfully isolated from the center of power. We can't stand each other. I got Dad to buy a house right up the street from me.

I'm the youngest sibling, but my mom treats my sister better cuz she's the "first child" and all the gud stuff goes to her first. I have to get her hand downs >=[

my half brother got spoiled thru out childhood, then he turned into a major pickle head during his adult years. before moma died, he hurt her really bad. she admitted that she had created a monster in him and acknowledged that i was the one that was always there for her, etc. but that was what i was supposed to do. i love and respected my mom even with her own human flaws. now that she is gone, i sure do miss my bestest friend....

i'm the youngest of four.. but least favored. My mother justified it by telling me that i was more independent and didn't need as much attention as the other three.. What a load of crap!
