No...save the bullpen as much as possible...and continue to beat up on the Rockies bullpen...you never know when you will need your bullpen...I bet we see Gagne this game though since there is such a big lead.

He's at 78 pitches after six innings; that's little more than a throwing session. Put him out for the seventh, if he finishes that up and is still under 90, let him open the eighth.

If he gets through eight in under 100, give him ten pitches to close out the complete game.

Keep this up and he might not pitch again in 2007.

But it's Tito's call, not mine.

Beckett is fine. I'd leave him in there for this inning and then take him out. He really hasnt thrown that much. But hes gone so far as where he'd need the same amount of rest anyways so let him go. He pitching like he has been

No because he will definetly play later in the series anyways. What are you gonna save him for its the sixth inning he would have to take 3-4 days off anyways

I say pitch him one more inning, and if he throws less than 15 pitches, 2. after that get him out and gagne in. this may be the only game in the series where he can pitch.

If it ain't broke, why fix it? The relievers might blow this. Remember no lead is too safe.

I don't see why not. Anyone but Gagne, though. He still makes me nervous!
