Do colleges look at your report card or your sememster grades?

They look at your final GPA. They might also glance at your semester grades but it does not matter in the long run really. If you have a high GPA then that tells the story they want to hear.

Colleges look at your overall GPA. If you are pushing for a specific discipline, you might get some review of course grades in that discipline.

They look at the transcripts that your High School sends to them. Ask someone at your HS what information they send to colleges.
