I like to write certain sayings and I do enjoy poetry (romantic poetry, meaningful poetry) writing. I believe I'm pretty good at it. How do I go about submitting my writing to a card company like Hallmark? I went to their website and there isn't anything on there for this.

Hallmark doesn't accept freelance work and I would have to work from home.

Hi, lady_bella. Just googled it and came across a website you might find helpful. Google "How to Become a Greeting Card Writer."

Good luck. Anything is possible.

If you look in the 2007 Writers' Guide (that's the name of the book, you can get it at your library) they sometimes have listings for greeting cards.

Try American Greetings while they're still in business. They take freelance submissions.

Actually, I went to their website and it says that they won't accept any submissions from anyone. If you send it to them anyway...they will copywright it as their own. Sorry about that.
