Collecting people's old winter clothing for the homeless?

im 14 and i live in toronto and ive been really thinking about ways to help out rather than moping about how stupid my life is. the thing is, i just need to know where to start and how it's gonna be. if i were to collect peoples old winters clothing for the homeless, would i just distribute them out on random streets, or would i give them in to some organiztation? and if givingin in to an organization, which would that be?

First of all--God did NOT give you a STUPID life.

Secondly, call a local church and ASK THEM how you can help the needy or who needs clothes that they know of.
