I am long over due not just for a vacation but for my peace of mind. I am 39 years old and can honestly say it has hands down been an iliad & twisted year of my life.
All the events of the year will pass and I'll over come them all in due time. In the meantime I wish I could be somewhere where the sun is warm, sounds of the ocean crashing, and the soft wind blowing sweetly across my face and body. Somewhere where all my fears drown away and drama becomes only a part of the past if only for a short period of time. A place where a peace of mind is welcomed and carressed.
Wow, or just a dream with your face in it. No idea if that is your real pic or not but it is welcomed in my dreams any time ; )

I had to do an online heath assessment for work today and it asked when was the last time I took a vacation. I had to stop and think about it and realized it's been 14 months since I last took a vacation from work. I think I'm due for one :)

I'm taking almost a two week vacation in December for my wedding. I personally don't like to take long vacations- it makes it harder to go back to work. I'd rather take a Monday or Friday off here or there...

Yes! I am going to New Orleans with my hubby and another couple next week. It is always so theraputic to get away from the hum drum of everyday life and enjoy and experience new things.
