Yes, they give some very broad ideas but they all sound an awful lot like Pres. Bush's song & dance answers over the last 6 years. (in which he hasn't been able to win it)

So the biggest issue in American politics since the end of the Cold War (The War on Terror) & not one Presidential candidate has any idea how they plan on winning it. Other than fighting it is on the top of their agenda's. I'm not sure who's more clueless the candidates or the American people who actually listen to them to talk all about fighting the war on terror but nothing on how to win it.

There's no such thing as 'winning the war on terror'. It's not just physical, it's psychological. Seriously, at what point would anyone be able to say the war was won? What would have to occur? It's impossible.

Bush HAS a plan for winning the war on terror. However, it is classified and TOP SECRET. If the plan was broadcast on TV or in the papers, the enemy would know it also, and could counteract it. You notice that the Presidential candidates also do not disclose what they would do if they win the election--same reason.

Ron Paul believes our foreign policies have created the need for a war on terror. His clearcut plan is to mind our own business, trade and talk with other countries.

How would we like Arab ships on our waters? How would we like any other military on our land? We wouldn't like it one bit! They don't like it either.

Check out John McCain. He knows what he's talking about, and he does offer concrete specifics.
